What does the ARAA Basketball Board do?

The ARAA Basketball Board is the decision making arm of our youth basketball program. It is through the board that programs are designed, planned for and operated. The board determines the costs necessary to run each of these programs and sets applicable fees to cover the costs. Without a board, there would be no basketball association.

What does a Board Member do?

ARAA Basketball Board members are responsible for performing the tasks necessary for a successful basketball program. Board members volunteer for a task or area of need. You can find this season’s responsibilities on the Board Member page. All board members meet on a regular basis to review issues and concerns surrounding our programs. Participation by board members during these meetings helps to find the best solutions for our organization.

Who should volunteer to serve on the ARAA Basketball Board?

We are always looking for members who have an interest in youth basketball, have organizational skills that can be leveraged in the operation of the programs, and have a passion for continued improvement of the youth program.
