2012 Programs

Box Lacrosse: $190        3rd – 8th Grade

Registration close date is February 1st.

MN Swarm Youth Box lacrosse is a fast paced, exciting game that improves your stick skills dramatically. You will enhance your foot work, shot and passing in traffic. Because nets are smaller and goalies are bigger, you have to get creative to score. Defense builds your physical play. Games are played on weekends (Friday – Sunday). Short Sticks ONLY, no defense poles.

All registered players receive:

  • 2 ticket vouchers for 2012 Swarm home games
  • YBL team jersey

Dates: Early March through mid-May

Participation fee: $190/player (includes 10 practices at Anoka Ice Arena)
**A valid US Lacrosse number is required to play (additional fee of $25). You may register, renew, or lookup your number at USLacrosse.org.

Locations: Various locations in the metro area. League locations can be found here

Player Eligibility: The league has 3 levels of play and is open to boys entering grades 3rd/4th, 5th/6th grade or 7th/8th grade for the ’11-’12 school year.

*Note that you are not able to register individually. Girls are allowed to play in the boys league through 6th grade.


Spring Lacrosse: $150           3rd – 8th Grade

Registration close date is March 1st.

 

Get your sticks out and get on the field just as the snow melts! Spring lacrosse is a great opportunity to warm up and get back in to the lacrosse groove prior to summer. Practices will be at Anoka High School. Returnable jerseys provided, black shorts required.

  • Practices held Tuesday & Thursdays
  • Double header games played on weekends

Dates: April - May 20th

Participation fee: $150/player

Boys Summer Lacrosse:          3rd – 8th Grade

 Registration for summer league closes May 1st or at player limit.

 

The summer lacrosse season runs from early May through the end of July. Games and practices are held Monday – Thursdays, with no more than 3 events per week. Home field is located at Anoka High School.

Dates: May - August 5th

Participation fee: Varies depending on level

Player Eligibility: The league has 3 levels of play and is open to boys and girls entering grades 3rd/4th, 5th/6th grade or 7th/8th grade for the ’11-’12 school year.

*If desired, girls may play on the boy’s lacrosse team through 6th grade. Players receive uniform shorts & a returnable jersey.


Instructional Lacrosse: $75            1st – 2nd Grade

Our new instructional lacrosse program is focused on teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse while ensuring that each child has a positive experience learning the game.  Players will learn basic lacrosse concepts and skills through a series of drills and activities taught in a small group setting. Instructional league runs June – July. All players will receive a t-shirt. Helmets are available for rent. Open to boys and girls.

Participation fee: $75

Location: Anoka High School

Player Eligibility: Open to boys and girls in 1st - 2nd grade.


All Registrations received after 3/31 will incur a $30 late fee.

NOTE:  Registration fees do not include US Lacrosse membership fee of $25. This is required to play any program of Lacrosse.

Also families are required to submit volunteer check for $100. This will be returned after your volunteer hours have been completed.

Apparel Online Store Now Open!

Our ARLC online apparel store is now open!

  • Orders can be placed from now through February 19th, 2012.
  • Please understand that these are all custom orders and will not be shipped until approximately 4 weeks after the order close date of February 19th. At that time the products will go into production, no late orders will be accepted.
  • As these are custom, no returns or exchanges will be possible.
  • The orders will be delivered by ARLC.
  • A portion of the profits from this sale will go back to the ARLC to help support our club.

ARLC Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and directed to the ARLC Commisioner.

  • Refunds will be given minus any and all expenses incurred to that point included, but not limited to, uniform fee, team registration fees, and player registration fees.
  • After the start of the season, no refunds will be given.
