ANOKA/RAMSEY BASEBALL VOLUNTEER POLICY 2012
Many hands are needed to have a successful and enjoyable baseball season. A $100 DEPOSIT PER FAMILY will be collected from all families participating in A/R Baseball, both House and Traveling. Checks will be collected by the head coach or team parent. All checks must be turned in before a player can receive their uniform. Checks will be returned at the end of the season upon fulfilling the volunteer requirement of 4 hours per family. Head coaches, their two assistants, and the team parent will not be required to submit a volunteer check. Coaching is a big commitment and we want to honor that.
All volunteer hours will be tracked using DIBS software (accessible online per below link), specially designed for Anoka/Ramsey Baseball. Many of our families will be familiar with this program as it is used for other sports their children may be involved in (including Anoka hockey). Those families will be able to use their current log-in. For those new to the system, it is VERY user-friendly. The link to the volunteer registration and sign-up is accessible from the link below. The first time you log in, you will create a username and password and then you will be able to sign up for available volunteer opportunities. Scheduling will be on a first come, first served basis.
Once registration is complete, an email blast will go out to all families with further instructions on how to access the software to sign up for volunteer positions. Any questions regarding the volunteer policy should be directed to Mark Boerboom, preferably through the DIBS login.
