ARAA House Baseball Volunteer Policy 2009
VOLUNTEER HOURS INFORMATION

Many hands are needed to have a successful and enjoyable baseball season. This year, there will be a $50 DEPOSIT PER PLAYER collected at registration for ALL PLAYERS participating in House and Traveling Baseball, including T-Ball and Coaches Pitch. Families that choose online registration will need to get their checks to their coach prior to the first practice of the season. Each coach will be provided with a list of volunteer opportunities that his/her team needs to fill. Checks will be returned at the end of the season upon fulfilling volunteer requirement.

Some examples of duties that qualify for the volunteer requirement are as follows:

T-Ball and Coach's Pitch Tracking Form:

  • Concession Workers for End of Season Tournament(s) – June 20, June 26, 27 & 28

We will need a number of parent volunteers to work the concession stand  for the T-Ball/Coaches Pitch Baseball Extravaganza on June 20 as well as the End of Season Tournament for the 10U & 12U House Baseball League held on June 26, 27 & 28. This could also be fulfilled by older (teenage) siblings. Expect to work for a 2 hour shift.

  • Field Maintenance/Garbage Detail -End of Season Tournament June 26-28

We will need some volunteers to collect garbage from the park area as well as raking the baselines between games and other field maintenance. Expect to work for a 2 hour shift.

*We will do our best to schedule these tasks around your child’s game schedule. Please be prepared to work at any time during the scheduled tournament.

In the event that you are not available to work one of the above mentioned events, please contact (click on name for email link) Jennifer Geiselhart, House Baseball Volunteer Coordinator to schedule volunteer time.
