These goals will not happen over night and cannot happen without many volunteers hours and efforts. Please be proactive and get involved!

Here is the schedule of volunteers for this weekend’s tournament at Central Park in Ramsey.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time and check in at the Volunteer Station located just south of the concessions area.
When you have completed your time, check out at the Volunteer Station to receive your deposit check back.
I have spent 6 hours today working on the schedule.
I apologize if your request was not honored.
I had many special requests and just couldn’t honor all of them.
If you are unable to work your assigned shift, please find a replacement.
There are phone numbers supplied for that reason.
I do not have a back-up list of volunteers so please be ready to work your shift.

Thanks again for your help.
We could not do it without all the faithful parents supporting our kids!"

Traveling vs Recreational Baseball
Traveling Baseball is for players and families that would like to travel to other communities to play baseball at a higher level than the recreational program. Coaches will determine where players will be positioned defensively and placed in the lineups to provide the greatest strength to the team.

There is more commitment required from players and parents for games and practices. The season with ARAA consists of regular season games, a league playoff, and at least 3 weekend tournaments that may run Friday - Sunday. Regular season games are usually played Monday - Thursday.

Cost of tournaments and travel are additional costs to the regular season. The players are divided into 2 classes: A and B. The A class competes at the highest possible level of play. Players selected to play at the A level are focused, have good attitudes, already have good knowledge of the game, and can compete with other players at this level.

Players selected to play the the B level should also be focused and have good attitudes, but could benefit by not playing at the A level at this time.

Recreational Baseball programs provide introductory level education about the sport.  Participants learn fundamental skills and experience play in a recreational atmosphere.

The season consists of 12 - 16 games, plus an end of the year weekend playoffs. The regular season games are usually played Monday - Thursday.

The teams are created to try to makeup evenly matched teams.

In most cases the teams will play with your own city teams, but some games will be scheduled with neighboring communities to provide a greater variety of opponents.
Exciting New Change in Our Recreational Program
Please note this important change
Attention parents and players within the 13, 14 & 15 year old age group of Recreational Baseball.

As the Elk Rivers and Rogers Recreational Baseball Association have joined a new "A/Rec" level baseball league, the Anoka/Ramsey Recreational 13U-15U baseball program will join this league as well.

This will give us a new opportunity to keep a recreational program for the 15 year olds as well as the 13 and 14 year olds.  At the 13U and the 14U-15U groups, we will form teams within the Anoka Ramsey Baseball program and join the North Star Baseball League.

The North Star Baseball League is an "A/Rec" level baseball league with two divisions of play:

7th Grade (13U)
8th and 9th grade (14U-15U)

The league will consist of 16 regular season games, starting the first or second week of May and continuing through the middle of July.  Practices will start in April.  The Anoka Ramsey teams will play each other twice throughout the season as well as teams in the other communities.  Nights could vary from week to week, most likely to include Monday - Thursday nights.  Friday - Sunday’s will try to be avoided.  Game scheduling is done in an open format with other communities.  The slight registration fee increase is due to the NSBL entry fee.

The following communities are part of our division within this league:

Andover
Elk River
Coon Rapids
Rogers
