Coaches: The recreation program relies completely on volunteer parent coaches and all training is supplied, no experience is necessary. Each team will ideally be assigned two coaches so they can support one another and switch off tasks. Head coaches will receive reimbursement for the cost of one full spring registration fee and Assistant coaches will receive half at the end of the season upon fulfilling season coaching requirements to include background study, brief online concussion training, and SafeSport training, attendance at coach meeting as well as practices, games, and fall Super Soccer Saturday. Coaches should sign up for this opportunity during registration. Volunteer coaches do not need to be soccer experts; they just need to be willing and available. Our club offers multiple resources to educate and train our coaches and players. For families needing to fulfill the travel soccer volunteer bond requirement, coaching recreation soccer fulfills the bond requirement and can be applied in place of the reimbursement.
