ARAA Junior Olympic Volleyball is a part of the Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association, a non-profit organization.  ARAA JO was created 7 years ago to provide a competitive program at a reasonable cost to volleyball players (YDT to 18U) interested in playing at a higher level. We emphasize player commitment to a program that focuses on teamwork and good sportsmanship while providing the opportunity for higher skill development and expanding knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.

We are always looking for coaches who have experience with the game of volleyball and who want to share their knowledge and passion for the game.  We believe that it is not about wins or losses, it is making sure that your team has fun while growing physically and mentally in the sport of volleyball.

Coaches with ARAA JO are compensated based on age level and time commitment (number of practices and tournaments/playdates).  Our season runs from December to the end of March with tryouts in November.  Coaches are expected to be present at tryouts, reffing clinics, practices and all tournaments chosen by the coach.  All coaches with ARAA Volleyball will have background checks and USAV/NCR memberships completed in order to coach for ARAA JO Volleyball.

If you are interested in coaching, please fill out our coaching application.  We look forward to reviewing your submission.  If you have any questions regarding our program or coaching for our program please contact our JO Directors, Jackie Hime and Katie Jensen at araajovolleyball@gmail.com.
