Recreational soccer provides an opportunity for kids to be involved in an organized soccer program in a non-competitive environment.  At NLSC we offer soccer for youth ages PreK though Grade 10. Our coaching staff for the recreational program consists of volunteer parents/relatives. NLSC recreational program is a non-competitive developmental soccer league. This means we are a NO score, NO standings league. All players will play about the same amount of time in each game as well as have the opportunity to play at each position.  NLSC uses small-sided games to give players more opportunities to touch the ball.  A parent's guide to recreation soccer is available here.

 

We are always in need of volunteers for coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents. Partial registration reimbursements are available for our coaching volunteers.

We understand financial strain occurs, whether temporary or ongoing, and it can be difficult to fund children's sports. This can be especially stressful with multiple children wanting to play. Our association and club have programs available to help. Please contact us for more information.
