Equipment Provided by ARAA
Anoka Ramsey supplies each player with the essential gear needed for the season:
In July, we will hold an Equipment Handout Day, where players will be fitted to ensure they receive the correct sizes for their pads, helmet, and pants. Please plan to bring your player(s) to this event so we can make sure everyone is properly equipped and ready for the season.
*Please note that we do have a limited supply of gently used cleats available at our Combine/Equipment Hand out event. Please ask during check in if you are in need.
Equipment NOT provided
Parents/Guardians will need to provide their player with the following:
Equipment Director
In Season Equipment Coordinator
Each tackle family is required to complete 3 hours of volunteer time during the season. Volunteer opportunities will be posted through DIBS, and additional opportunities may be added as the season progresses.
We will share updates about open DIBS through email, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages to help families stay informed.
You will receive a reminder a few days before your scheduled DIBS session. When you arrive at your assigned location, please check in with a board member and scan the provided QR code to sign in — this step is very important to ensure your volunteer hours are properly recorded.
*Completed Dibs bonds will be cleared by mid November*

What is SportsEngine?
SportsEngine is our main communication platform for Anoka Ramsey Football. It’s where teams connect with coaches and other parents, view schedules for games, practices, and events, and stay up to date throughout the season.
Within the app, you can also RSVP to scheduled events, which is a critical tool for coaches to plan and prepare for game day. Please make sure to keep your player’s availability updated so your team can stay organized and ready to go!
If you haven’t already, please download the SportsEngine app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Be sure to sign in using the same email and password you use for your arsports.org account. This will automatically connect you to your team and give you access to schedules, messages, and updates.
New Football League!
This year we have joined 27+ cities around the area to create a new league for tackle football called Gopher State Football League (GSFL)
The Gopher State Football League (GSFL) season will run through the beginning of August through middle of October.
Cities from TCNFL and North Metro have combined forces with the help of MYAS to create this league. By doing so the plan is to get everyone together so everyone is playing with the same rules. With this creation there has been a southern division added to this league including the cities of Burnsville, Shakopee, Bloomington and Apple Valley.
